Skills Lab is where Tulsa’s future tech talent takes the leap from learning to doing. Powered by Tulsa Community College (TCC) and the Oklahoma Workforce Commission, the Skills Lab connects learners in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence with real-world, employer-designed projects that build experience, confidence, and career connections.

Through short-term, high-impact projects, Skills Lab participants work in small teams to tackle actual business challenges — from building interactive dashboards to conducting cybersecurity assessments to designing AI-powered tools. These 4–8 week projects give learners the opportunity to apply their training in meaningful ways while networking with Oklahoma employers and beyond.

With expert oversight from the Skills Lab team, a structured online platform for collaboration, and hands-on mentorship from industry, Skills Lab is building a bridge between the classroom and the career — and helping Oklahoma’s tech sector thrive.
